Mick Cooper, DPhil CPsychol, is a leading international authority in the fields of person-
centred, humanistic and existential approaches to counselling and psychotherapy. He
is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, co-Director of the Doctorate in Counselling
Psychology and editor of Person-Centred and Experiential Psychotherapies. Mick is also
recognised for his research into humanistic school-based counselling.
Peter Fraefel, born and grew up in the eastern part of Switzerland.
He studied Clinical Psychology at Zurich University. Peter went on to study to become
psychotherapist in Individual Psychology at the Alfred-Adler-Institute in Zurich.
Member of the board for science and ethics of the Swiss Society for Individual
Psychology (SGIPA).
Working experience with drug addicts, as a social education worker with families
and as a psychotherapist at a psychiatrist's private practice in St. Gallen.

Therapy and Counselling Teeside (TACT) are the College's latest new organisational member. We are delighted to welcome Karen Davies Hough and her team to UKCP. TACT was formed in 1999 to provide theapy and then in 2005 began their Diploma training.
